The Restoran Oversea Group commenced in 1977 when founding members converted the partnership business into a private limited company known as Restoran Oversea ( Imbi ) Sdn Bhd.

Restoran Oversea is widely known for offering exquisite contemporary Chinese cuisine with special emphasis on unique Cantonese themed restaurant. We feature traditional menus as the "Piece de resistance" of the restaurant. A grand total of seven ( 7 ) restaurant located in the Klang Valley and Ipoh, Perak under its belt including the pioneer restaurant in Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur which is the "talk-of-the-town ". The Restoran Oversea Group today has expanded its operation employing a work force in the vicintity of 700 people.

Restoran Oversea has achieved an impressive track record including a milestone in the development of the Group core business by diversifying from the food and beverage industry into manufacturing of confectioneries.

Since then, Restoran Oversea Group subsidiary company Haewaytian Cake House Sdn Bhd. was set up in 1982. The manufacturing facility of Haewaytian Cake House at Sg. Buloh consists of a 20,000 square feet factory equipped with encrusting machines and other production facility was set up in conjunction with the autumn festival moon cake, well-proven quality management and control guidelines have enable our moon cake products to become the finest brand name amongst the industry competitors. In addition, Restoran Oversea has expanded its portfolio to include the production of traditional wedding cake, butter and chocolate cookies, Hong Kong egg rolls, Phoenix egg rolls, fruit pie and a wide variety of confectionery produce in the future production plan. In view of the increasing demand, our new plant consisting of approximately 85,000 square feet would be operational by September 2002. The plant would be equipped with new machinery and in addition, the necessary accreditation such ISO9001: 2000 and HACCP certification pending approval.

We are strategically focused on the challenges of the new millennium and Restoran Oversea would continues its quest excellence in every field it pursues by leveraging on the strength of its recourses, expertise and experience to propel Restoran Oversea into a more dynamic and market driven corporation.
